  • Being Proactive in a Reactive Environment
  • Making Decisions

Determine where the underlying obstacles are that interfere with your productivity. Many of us encounter obstacles in our daily routines, some examples include; letting someone’s email tone effect our continued productivity, a contentious relationship with a co-worker, that impedes productivity leading up to an interaction, or an individual who is deathly afraid of public speaking, yet has a presentation to give at the end of a work day – perhaps the entire day or even days leading up can be less productive given the angst. The goal is to identify these areas of weakness, target solutions to best address, so that the productivity levels will increase. The bonus here is that you can be productive when you need to be, not make up for it later in the evening, or over the weekend.
