The approach to Work-Life Balance is a perfect example of the need for
systemic thinking. Since our work and life are interrelated, it's an integration of the two, not a separation.
First, the problem
must be managed with the inclusion of all components, paying careful attention to the repercussions decisions in
one area, can make on another.
Second,
the focus is not on perfect balance, specifically an unattainable 50-50 balance between work and life; in fact, balance should
not be a major focus. The goal is to gather information, resources and real-life example from thought leaders to assist in
recognizing the underlying daily challenges that interfere with, or slow down satisfaction and success.
